Professional Experience
‍‍In 1989, was admitted to practice in state and county courts for the entire State of Texas; also admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal District Courts for the Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. On April 15, 2013 was admitted and qualified as Attorney and Counselor of the Supreme Court of the United States.  Achieved highest rating in legal ability & ethical standards: AV™ Preeminent and Top Rated Lawyers™ in Health Care - Martindale - Hubbell®.  President, Shareholder and Director, Sullins & Johnston Attorneys At Law, P.C. Since 1986, Dan has been with the firm, where he began his professional career as a law clerk while attending South Texas College of Law. Dan's practice has involved representing individuals, corporations and other business entities, ranging from daily business advice to prosecution and defense of clients’ interests through trial and mediation in such matters as healthcare and subrogation reimbursement, commercial health insurance (contracted denials), consumer transactions, and business disputes. His practice has focused in the areas of emergency medical services, healthcare reimbursement, subrogation, and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business-related solutions, litigation and defense in those areas.
