Professional Experience
Ebere Okafor enrolled in Duke University with plans to study pre-med before transferring to University of Houston. There, she decided that her God-given gifts were better suited in the field of law, perhaps representing health care providers. She enrolled in Howard University School of Law and upon graduation began her career representing commercial general liability and professional liability insurers. Currently, she is a health law attorney focusing on healthcare and complex commercial disputes. She routinely represents healthcare providers, including hospitals, multi-hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician groups. She has experience litigating managed care and billing and reimbursement disputes for in-network and out-of-network providers. She also has extensive experience litigating complex commercial cases including contract, trade secret, and class action cases.
