Debbie Rollinson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University in 1977 with a BBA in Business Communication. She worked as a Systems Consultant for the consulting division of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Houston, serving oil & gas and construction clients in the Houston area. She then worked as a Systems Consultant and Manager of Systems Development for Gerald D. Hines Interests in their corporate offices in Houston. After a professional hiatus with her young children, Debbie joined SJRM in June 1998.
Debbie has been on the Board of Directors for the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, since 2000, serving in several leadership positions related to membership, fundraising, and program promotion. She has been a registered BSA leader in the council since 1990, serving in council, division, district, and unit positions. She is a past District Chairman and District Commissioner, and is currently serving as the North Division Chairman for the five districts in NW Harris County and Montgomery County. Debbie has received the Donald R. Collins Community Service Award, Silver Beaver Award, District Award of Merit, Distinguished Commissioner Award, God & Service Award, and several BSA training awards. She served as Scoutmaster for the 21st Century Wood Badge Leadership Course SR-472 in the fall of 2002, and was the honoree of a Mustang Engineering/Bill & Anne Higgs donation to the new council service center later that year.
Debbie and her family are active members of Faithbridge United Methodist Church in Spring, where she serves as a small group leader and ministry volunteer for youth, membership connections, and outreach programs.
Debbie is a life member of the Baylor Alumni Association, Mortar Board, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Delta Gamma Fraternity. She is also the proud mother of an Eagle Scout and Aggie students at Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas A&M University in College Station.
